Our vision is to have identified and helped vulnerable groups in the community to overcome their current social-economic challenges so that they can improve the quality of their lives by the year 2025.
OUR MISSION
As a Non-profit organization, we envision a world that is better than today. We therefore want to pull resources together to confront challenges such as domestic violence, child abuse, gender based violence, drug abuse, poverty, illiteracy and environmental degradation. Above all we want to mentor and educate children so that they can carry on with the good work we started as well as making a lasting impact on the lives of the less fortunate within our society in fulfilling our duties to God and our community. We plan to achieve this through offering professional counseling services, mentorship programs, sponsorships as well as trainings on income generating activities, financial management and literacy; aiming at transforming the lives of orphans, vulnerable and needy children, youths and women through counseling, provision of care, protection and basic needs, giving them hope and a future.
OBJECTIVES
Main objectives
The main objectives will be:-
a) To combat extreme poverty and famine by:
· Empowering youths
· Empowering vulnerable children and orphans
· Empowering women/ widows / single mothers
· Caring for the elderly in the society
b) To promote peaceful co-existence in the society
c) To establish Educational institutions & workshops
d) To establish orphanage and rehab centres
e) To promote environmental conservation awareness
f) Organizing leadership, mentorship, guidance and Counseling programmes
g) Fighting gender discrimination and Drug abuse
h) HIV/AID test, training and counseling
Specific objectives
a) The Trust shall search and nurture the talented youth and children in society to achieve their fullest potential.
b) The Trust will foster abstinence among married and unmarried and encourage fidelity among couples as the only sure way of controlling HIV and AIDS infection.
c) The Trust will initiate, promote advice on, and undertake self supporting and income-generating activities within the legal structures of our society.
d) The Trust will support, sponsor, develop and encourage the development and / or management of sports, music, art and drama and other recreational activities apart from talent search and nature programs.
e) The Trust will combat criminal activities through counseling, rehabilitation, integration and provision of occupational activities.
f) The Trust will work with other relevant organizations in the fight against drug abuse and any sort of addiction.
g) The Trust will acquire movable or immovable property and buildings or things whatsoever and sell, dispose of, mortgage, lease or otherwise deal with all or any part of the property or rights to promote the objectives of the foundation.
h) To enter into any arrangement with government or authorities that may seem conducive to the Trust objectives or any of them, and to obtain from such government authority any rights, privileges and concessions which the trust may think desirable to obtain.
i) To take such steps by personal or written appeals, public meetings or otherwise as may from time to time be deemed expedient for the purpose of procuring contribution to the fund of the Trust in the form of donations or otherwise.
j) To apply to any government or authorities, public bodies, corporations companies, or persons for and to accept grants or gifts of money and/or any movable or immovable property,, donations, gifts, subscriptions and other assistance with a view to promoting the objects of the Trust.
k) To establish and endowment fund to receive grants, donations, gifts and other assistance in any form whatsoever from any source for any one or more of the object of the trust to establish non-profit making organizations in any country or countries for the purpose of receiving donations for private and corporate persons for the channeling the same to the trust development operations.
l) To promote or assist in the promoting of any organizations or company or other body having objectives similar to those of the trust,
m) To do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the above objectives.
n) To invest the money in the trust not immediately required in any one more of the modes of investments of Trust moneys and or to invest the money in the income generating activities for sustainability purpose.
o) Establish Institutions for education, rehabilitation etc.
p) To provide safe environment and subsequent rehabilitation for poor marginalized so that they can be re-integrated into the society as persons who can contribute positively to social and economic activities within the society.
q) To generate, provide information and awareness to less informed, resettle the vulnerable and street families.
